Cornish Winter Warmer

This is an ideal short break in a friendly and comfortable surroundings, staying in a county that offers a wild and varied scenery.

Cornwall is a corner of England which offers at anytime of year spectactular scenery, picturesque villages and colourful heritage. 

We stay in the old Cornish mining village of St Agnes, where our hotel provides a warm and friendly welcome.


During our stay we offer excursions to the picturesque seaside town of Padstow, a visit to a local cider farm, and visit to St Ives, a seaside town full of history, legend and tradition.



Day 1

We join our coach for the journey to Cornwall; we make a lunch stop en-route before arriving at our hotel in time to settle in, before our evening meal and sherry reception.


Day 2

This morning after a leisurely breakfast we travel to the town of Padstow. A seaside town famous for its connections to local chefs and hsitoric harbour. Afterwards we travel to a nearby cider farm where there will be a self guided tour followed by afternoon tea and scones included. Later we rejoin our coach for the journey back to our hotel..

Day 3

Today we leave and make a scenic drive to the town of St Ives. The town is full of history, legend, tradition and cobbled streets. After lunch we travel to the farthest south westerly point on the UK mainland - Lands End. Here we make a short stop before returning to hotel for our evening meal and an enjoyable quiz.

After breakfast we say farewell to our hotel , and begin our journey home to your joining point. arriving back late afternoon.

Rosemundy House Hotel, St Agnes

This popular three star hotel tastefully extended, is set in its own secluded gardens just a short stroll from the village main street.

The hotel facilities include a comfortable lounge, bar and restaurant and its bedrooms are en-suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities.

Please note whilst there is no lift the hotel it has only two floors and they do have a limited number of ground floor rooms, if this type of room is required please advise at booking stage and we can check availability with the hotel.
