Great Yarmouth is a popular seaside resort offering some visitor attractions to explore.

Always a popular destination, Great Yarmouth offers a traditional seaside experience. We include visits to the unique Sandringham Estate, the much loved retreat of the late Queen, set in landscaped gardens. Enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Norfolk Broads and a scenic drive along the North Norfolk Heritage Coast.

Day 1

We join our coach and travel through the English countryside to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth, where we are welcomed by the hotel before our evening meal.

Day 2

This morning after a leisurely breakfast we join our coach and begin our journey to Wroxham where we join our boat for a relaxing cruise along the picturesque Norfolk Broads. In the afternoon we head west into Norwich where you have free time to explore, visit the cathedral, cobbled Elm Hill or Norwich Castle Museum. Afterwards we will rejoin our coach and travel back to our hotel.

Day 3

Today you have a free day in Great Yarmouth where you can explore the town and its attractions. There are two piers and wide sandy beach to explore, and it has the second most complete medieval town wall in England. It is also well known for its maritime history.

Day 4

After breakfast we travel across Norfolk to the Sandringham Estate. This stately house is set in landscaped gardens and remains very much as it was in the Edwardian times. In the afternoon we travel along the North Norfolk Heritage Coast stopping at the town of Sheringham. This traditional seaside town grew around its old fishing village and now also has a heritage railway. After an interesting day of sightseeing we travel back to our hotel.

Day 5

We say farewell to the hotel and Great Yarmouth and begin our journey home.

The hotel will provide two evenings of entertainment, one night of live entertainment and one night of a quiz or bingo.

This AA four star rated hotel is located just a two minute walk from the beach in Great Yarmouth. The hotel’s facilities include their Mermaid Bar which is spacious and relaxing, a restaurant/bar and a lounge. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the hotel. The lift serves all floors and the bedrooms are ensuite with a shower over a bath. The bedrooms have a television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

 

Please Note: The hotel has a small number of sea view rooms which incur a supplement. These rooms overlook the road and seafront consequently they are noisier than the other rooms.
