Isle of Wight & Its Delights

The Isle of Wight is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with its beaches, scenery and royal heritage.

Always a popular destination with our clients, the Isle of Wight is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty with its beaches, scenery and royal heritage. We stay in the seaside resort of Sandown with its sandy beach, pier and zoo to explore. We include excursions to Osborne House and take a ride on the Isle of Wight steam railway.

Day 1

We depart this morning and travel through the English countryside to the ferry for the crossing to the Isle of Wight. On arrival we continue to Sandown and our hotel arriving with time to settle in before our evening meal.

Day 2

This morning after a leisurely breakfast we travel along the southern coast road to Alum Bay famous for its multi coloured cliffs and sand with views to the Needles Lighthouse. We continue into the town of Yarmouth with its Grade two listed pier before returning to Sandown and our hotel.

This morning after a leisurely breakfast you have the day free to explore the town or travel further afield.

Day 4

After breakfast we travel to Osborne House which Queen Victoria called her "palace by the sea". Here you can glimpse into the Royal family's past life and enjoy its gardens. Afterwards we make a short stop in Godshill, a delightful English village with thatched cottages and model village before travelling back to our hotel in Sandown.

Day 5

We say farewell to our hotel and the Isle of Wight crossing by ferry to the mainland. On our arrival we continue to your joining points, arriving back late afternoon.

Hotel Details: Trouville Hotel, Sandown

This three star hotel is located on the promenade and opposite the beach offering views of the bay. The hotel’s facilities include a restaurant, bar and lounge area.

All the bedrooms (except the single rooms) have a sea view with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Served by a lift.

(Please note the single rooms are not available with a seaview)
