This holiday sees us stay in the seaside town of Skegness or “Skegee” in Lincolnshire.
You can experience the delights of the Lincolnshire countryside with its historic towns and villages. Visit the market town of Boston located in the heart of the dramatic fenland and Spalding famous as the centre of the UK flower industry.
Day 1
We depart from your local joining points and travel cross country to our hotel in Skegness with a lunch break enroute. We arrive in time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning we travel to the delightful village of Woodhall Spa with its Dambuster's connections. We continue to the Battle of Britain Memorial flight visitor centre where we can enjoy the exhibition and a guided tour of the hangar where the historic aeroplanes are maintained. After an interesting day we return to our hotel and Skegness.
Day 3
We depart this morning and travel through the local Fenland to the market town of Boston. The town is dominated by its 14th century St Boltolphs church whose high tower is known locally as the Stump. After a stop we continue onto the town of Spalding famous for being the centre of the UK flower industry and visit the Springfields outlet shopping centre and festival gardens.
Day 4
Today is a free day to explore the seaside resort of Skegness.
Day 5
This morning we say farewell to our hotel and Skegness and travel back to your joining points.

Hotel Details: The Royal Hotel, Skegness.
Our three star hotel is located in quiet spacious grounds, this Victorian hotel is close to the seafront and the town centre. The hotel offers a restaurant, two bars, and a games room. All the bedrooms are en suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Please Note: The hotel is non smoking and has free WiFi in the public areas. The ground floor rooms are all accessed by two steps, but the lift to the other floors is suitable for wheelchairs.
