Paignton & Scenic Devon
Paignton is a pleasant town situated in the English Riviera, with its beach and long flat esplanade overlooking Torbay.
We stay in Paignton, a seaside town located on the English Riviera and a popular holiday destination with our clients. The town has a lovely flat seafront promenade and a pier to enjoy, and we include excursions to nearby places of interest such as Buckfast Abbey a Benedictine monastery, ride a train along the Dart Valley, and visit Powderham Castle with its centuries of stories and deer park.
Day 1
We depart this morning for the journey to Paignton, arriving at our hotel late afternoon in time to settle in before our evening meal.
Day 2
After a leisurely breakfast we travel to Powderham Castle where we are met by our guide for a tour of the Castle. After an interesting visit we travel to the seaside town of Dawlish for a short break before continuing onto our hotel in Paignton.
Day 3
Today is a free day to explore Paignton and its attractions.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we travel through the scenic Devon countryside to the Benedictine Monastery of Buckfast Abbey. Afterwards we continue the short distance to Buckfastleigh where we enjoy a ride on the steam railway along the picturesque Dart Valley. Apon our return we travel by our coach to our hotel in Paignton.
B, DDay 5
This morning after breakfast we say goodbye to our hotel and Paignton and travel back to your joining point.
