This holiday visits some of the most picturesque countryside in England.
We visit one of the most popular areas of England on this holiday, The Peak District National Park. We travel to Crich and its famous Tramway Village, enjoy the delights of Chatsworth House and Gardens home to the Devonshire family and visit Lyme Park where you step back in time to the Edwardian age with its lavish house interiors, beautiful gardens and enchanting lake.
Day 1
We join our coach from your joining point and travel through the English countryside to the outskirts of Sheffield and our hotel, with a lunch stop enroute.
Day 2
After breakfast we travel through the Peak District National Park to the historic market town of Buxton which is renowned for its healing waters. There is time to explore the town perhaps visit the Pavilion Gardens set in 23 acres of Victorian landscaping. Afterwards we join our coach for the journey to Lyme Park where you can step back in time to the Edwardian age. You can enjoy the house with its lavish interiors, beautiful gardens and enchanting lake made famous by a certain Mr Darcy from the BBC's production of Pride & Prejudice. After an enjoyable day we travel back to our hotel.
B, DDay 3
Today after breakfast we travel to the Crich in Derbyshire and its famous Tramway Village Museum. This lovingly restored period village is home to the National Tramway Museum where you see and ride these historical trams from different places in England. Other attractions include a workshop, a sweet shop and a restored public house.
After our visit we continue onto the pretty town of Ashbourne for a short stop before continuing back to our hotel.
Day 4
This morning after breakfast we travel back into the Peak District National Park and visit the popular Chatsworth House & Garden. Here you can explore the magnificent home of the Devonshire family and its 25 rooms which includes The Painted Hall, The State Room and Sculpture Gallery. The grounds gave been cultivated for nearly 500 years and includes an Arboretum, Rock Garden and Fountains. After an enjoyable day we return to Sheffield passing the Ladybower Reservoir and the Derwent Dam famous for its links with the Dambusters.
B, DDay 5
We say farewell to our hotel and Sheffield after breakfast and make our journey home to your joining point.

This four star hotel is located about two miles from Sheffield city centre, set in its own grounds. The hotel is based around 19th Century Hall with modern extensions for the majority of bedrooms and public areas. Its facilities include a lounge bar and restaurant along with a leisure centre with an indoor pool.
The bedrooms are served by a lift and are all ensuite with shower over the bath, television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
