Another popular short break destination is the Coronation Street Tour and for 2025 we have teamed it with the Royal Horticultural Society Bridgewater Gardens. On the Coronation Street Tour you will step into the captivating world of the Street with a pre-tour Cinema experience followed by a 90 minute tour of the exterior set. The RHS Bridgewater Gardens has become one of the largest gardening projects transforming a green space of 154 acres enriching the lives of the local communities.
Day 1
We join our coach and travel to Manchester with a convenient lunch stop on the way before arriving at our hotel for our evening meal.
DDay 2
After a leisurely breakfast we travel the short distance to MediaCity UK where you will step into a piece of UK television history. Immerse yourself and venture inside the crafted replica sets of Roy's Rolls and the iconic Rovers Return. Before the tour you can view a cinema experience before embarking on a ninety minute tour of the exterior sets. Once completed there will be free time to visit the Salford Quays and the Quayside MediaCity UK areas which offer a range of outlet shops and a food Hall. You may also want to visit the Imperial War Museum North (Extra Cost) which tells a powerful story of more than a century of war, or catch the tram to the Trafford Centre. An evening meal is included at the hotel this evening.
Day 3
After breakfast this morning we join our coach for journey to the RHS Bridgewater Gardens. One of the largest gardening projects in Europe it takes its inspiration from the heritage of the site, based on a design by a leading landscape architect. We include a private guide tour of the garden with all its native favourites and exotic treasures set around an elegant mansion. After a rewarding day we join the coach for the journey back to the hotel and on our arrival the hotel will provide tea or coffee, a slice of cake or a scone and jam before our evening meal. There will be further free time in the evening.
B, DDay 4
Today after breakfast we depart the hotel and make our way homeward with a suitable lunch stop before arriving back at your joining point.
