Join us for a two hour motorised boat trip through the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, travelling across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford a massive 126 feet above the River Dee!. We continue through the Dee Valley whilst enjoying a Ploughmans lunch, with an informative commentary on board and a bar will be available.
Morning
We travel through Shropshire and cross the border to the welsh town of Llangollen. Here we leave the coach and join our barge for the cruise along the canal and then enjoying our Ploughmans lunch meal. (Please note the boat is about a ten minute walk from the coach park)
Afternoon
After the cruise we rejoin our coach and travel back to your joining points after a scenic day out.
Estimated time of arrival back into Hereford is 18:30.
