Held annually each July at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, the Royal International Air Tattoo has gained the well-earned reputation as one of the UK's top outdoor family events. This years' theme will be "Air & Space" inspring the next generation Air Force as on one day (July 20th 1969) it is 50 years since the first moon landing took place and will feature some of the world's most exciting aircraft from around the world.

As of (February 2019) several air forces have been invited to participate this year, and so far the following have been confirmed:

The Royal Danish Air Force has confirmed its participation in the Air Tattoo, kicking off the first of our static aircraft line up. An EH-101 Merlin from 722 Squadron based at Karup Air Station will fly to RAF Fairford to feature in the Air Tattoo. They also announced that the Red Arrows will return to the Air Tattoo this year and will have their last public display at the show before they fly to North America for the Western Hawk 19 Tour!

The Air Tattoo team are also delighted that once again the show we will enjoy the Royal Jordanian Falcons at the Air Tattoo! A delight with crowds in 2018, the fantastic display team will thrill crowds at RAF Fairford with their display.  This summer's Air Tattoo will feature a display from the Swiss Air Force! The nation will be sending an F/A-18C Hornet to fly an energetic display of this Cold War-era fighter for Air Tattoo crowds. The 2019 Air Tattoo is off to a 'jump-start' thanks to confirmation from the Spanish Navy that their iconic Harrier is to make a very welcome and rare appearance to fly in this summer's airshow. The EAV-8B Harrier II Plus from 9 Squadron will be displaying at the Air Tattoo, held over 19-21 July at RAF Fairford. The aircraft, based at Rota Naval Base, are normally found flying from the Spanish Navy's amphibious assault ship, Juan Carlos I.

You can also enjoy two miles of showground filled with attractions, activities and exhibitions, plus shopping, food and drink.
