English Riviera in the Autumn
With this holiday we stay on the English Riviera staying at the popular Headland Hotel in Torquay.
Visit the popular English Riviera and the resort of Torquay in the well liked Headland Hotel.
The resort of Torquay offers a good choice of attractions to visit and we visit the two Devon cities of Exeter and Plymouth, each with their unique character and history.
Day 1
This morning we join the coach and travel to Torquay, with a lunch break enroute before we arrive at our hotel, with time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
Today after breakfast we join the coach and travel to the city of Exeter, where on our arrival there will be time to explore the city perhaps visit its cathedral which is a magnificent example of gothic architecture. Or visit its historic Quayside area with its Custom House or just wander around its shopping area. We re-join the coach for the journey back to Torquay travelling along part of the coast road.
B, DDay 3
Today after a leisurely breakfast is a free day to explore Torquay, perhaps take a ride on the local bus to Brixham with its fishing port or wander around Torquay perhaps visiting its museum (Cost extra) where part of the museum traces the life of the author Agatha Christie.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we travel today to the maritime city of Plymouth, where on our arrival we meet our boat for a short sightseeing trip around Plymouth Harbour. There will be a short break before continuing to Buckfast Abbey for a visit to this Benedictine Monastery where you can explore the grounds. We return to the coach and travel back to the hotel in Torquay.
B, DDay 5
We enjoy our breakfast this morning before joining the coach back to your joining point with a lunch stop on the way.

This three star hotel is located overlooking Torbay and is popular with our clients. The hotel is set in two acres of grounds and has a gallery lounge and a sea view terrace. The bedrooms are ensuite with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities, and are served by a lift.
