This festive themed holiday sees us stay in the popular seaside town of Eastbourne.
This holiday sees us stay in the popular seaside town of Eastbourne. You can experience the delights of the Sussex countryside and coastline with its historic towns and villages. We visit the nearby city of Brighton with its many attractions, and the delightful historic towns of Tenterden, Rye and Battle.
Day 1
A morning departure sees us travel through the countryside with a convenient lunch stop en route, before arriving at our hotel in time to settle in with tea or coffee before our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning we join our coach and travel to the town of Rye, an unspoilt town rising above the surrounding countryside with views of the marshes. Afterwards we continue to Tenterden, one of the prettiest towns in the south east of England, before continuing to the delightful market town of Battle, which grew up around the Abbey and has history dating back to 1066. This evening our meal will be a traditional Christmas dinner.
B, DDay 3
Today is a free day to explore Eastbourne and its attractions.
B, DDay 4
This morning we join our coach and travel along the coast road passing Beachy Head to the cosmopolitan city of Brighton. Here you have free time to visit its attractions such as the Pier, the stunning Royal Pavilion or even Brighton 360, a rotating high rise view of the city.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast today we say farewell to our hotel and Eastbourne and travel back to your joining point.
Entertainment
The hotel will provide a themed holly and mistletoe entertainment programme on four evenings during our stay, which includes a Christmas themed bingo or quiz and live entertainment.

Hotel Details: The Lansdowne Hotel, Eastbourne
This three star hotel is located on the seafront overlooking the western lawns and a short walk from the town centre. The hotel has five lounge areas, some with sea views, and a games room.
All the bedrooms are ensuite with television, hairdryer and a tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms and although the hotel has a lift, some of its rooms are accessed by some steps.
