This holiday stays a couple of miles from stunning Loch Lomond and the award winning Winnock Hotel in Drymen. We include excursions to Inverary Castle and Gardens, a steamship cruise along Loch Katrine and a ride on the Falkirk Wheel. We also enjoy two nights of entertainment.
Day 1
We join our coach and make our way north, crossing the border into Scotland and making convenient stops en route. We arrive at our hotel in Drymen in time for our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning after breakfast we travel through the Scottish countryside to the Trossachs Pier, where we join our steamship for a two hour relaxing cruise on Loch Katrine. Afterwards we will enjoy soup, sandwiches and cake lunch at Loch Katrine. Our next destination is the Aberfoyle Woollen Mill, were we will have time to browse its traditional Scottish wares.
B, DDay 3
After a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the town of Falkirk. On our arrival we travel to the Falkirk Wheel, the world's only rotating boat lift. To enjoy the full experience we will be lifted up to connect to the Forth and Clyde Canal. On the return journey back to our hotel we stop at the famous Kelpies, the world's largest equine sculptures. See them up close and marvel at the complex engineering which created these fantastic pieces of art.
Day 4
After breakfast today we travel to Balloch, where we make a short stop to take in the view. We continue along the side of Loch Lomond passing the village of Luss, famous for it being the village for the television programme "Take the High Road", before we arrive at Inverary and its Castle and Gardens. There is time to spend exploring its history and the grounds before we join the coach for a scenic journey back to the hotel in Drymen.
Day 5
After breakfast today we say farewell to our hotel and Scotland and begin our journey back to your joining point, stopping for convenient breaks on the way.

Hotel Details: The Winnock Hotel, Drymen
This popular three star hotel is a coaching inn which has been lovingly restored and tastefully extended. The hotel overlooks the Village Green and has a public lounge bar and restaurant. All rooms are en suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel does not have a lift, but there are some ground floor rooms available.
Please Note: All bedrooms have a shower over the bath.
