A popular trip with our clients with its unique history. On this holiday we enjoy a steam train ride offering views of the Norfolk countryside, travel through the unique Norfolk Broads by river boat, visit the Royal Estate of Sandringham and the popular Bressingham Gardens.

Day 1

We depart early from your joining point and travel across England to the city of Norwich and our hotel for our stay. After our arrival there will be an evening meal.

Day 2

Today after breakfast we make the trip through the Norfolk Countryside to the Sandringham Estate. This Estate was one of the much loved retreats of the late Queen Elizabeth II, with its Edwardian stately house set in stunning landscaped gardens. After an enjoyable day out we return back to Norwich and hotel.

Day 3

This morning we travel to the seaside resort of Cromer for a short break before continuing onto the village of Holt, where we join our train for a short scenic train journey to Sheringham. Afterwards we join our coach and travel to the village of Wroxham. Here we join our boat for a relaxing cruise ninety minute cruise on the Norfolk Broads.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach and travel through the countryside to the popular Bressingham Gardens where you can experience the glorious sights, sounds and smells of the Steam age. Take a trip on one of the four railways, get close to the mighty steam engines or ride on the magnificent and historic gallopers. Plus you can wander through the home of the collection of Dad's Army displays and vehicles or enjoy the unique 17 acres of gardens. We later re-join the coach and travel back to our hotel.

Day 5

After breakfast we depart the hotel and make our journey back, travelling through the English Countryside with a lunch stop en route, before arriving back at your joining point.

Hotel Details: Mercure Norwich Hotel, Norwich

This four star hotel is situated on the outskirts of Norwich around three miles from its centre. The hotel’s facilities include a bar, restaurant and leisure club with indoor pool and gym. The hotel’s bedrooms are en suite with a television, complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

NB: Please note this hotel does not have a lift, but they do have ground floor rooms available.
