A popular tour in 2023 we have decided to repeat it for 2025. On this tour we include excursions to the popular Honey farm, a visit to the RHS Rosemoor garden famous for its fragrant rose garden, Clovelly the unique fishing village and a trip to Exmoor National park which features spectacular views and valleys and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth linked by a unique water powered funicular lift.
Day 1
We join our coach and travel to the town of Barnstaple with a convenient lunch stop on the way before arriving at our hotel for our evening meal.
DDay 2
After a leisurely breakfast we join the coach for a scenic drive into the Exmoor National Park and spend some time in the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, where you can take the cliff railway from one to the other! This unique Victorian water powered funicular cliff lift (Disabled access is limited) will transport you up and down the 500 feet between the villages where you can explore their independent shops. In the afternoon we travel to South Molton and the Quince Honey Farm. On our arrival we enjoy a guided tour which includes honey tasting and a talk about keeping Bees in your gardens. There is also a café and shop to visit. After an interesting day we travel back to Barnstaple and our hotel.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast the morning the day is free to explore the town of Barnstaple. Some of its buildings have a medieval character, plus you can visit the historic Pannier Market with its stalls offering local produce, flowers and crafts.
Day 4
Today after breakfast we travel to the RHS Garden Rosemoor which is nestled in the Torridge valley and is eye catching at any time of the year. There are several gardens to explore including the fragrant Rose garden, the brightly coloured9 Hot garden, the foliage garden just to name a few. In the afternoon we travel to the historic fishing village of Clovelly, with its traffic free cobbled streets tumbling down the 400 feet cliff to the tiny fishing port and quayside. After an enjoyable day we travel back to our hotel in Barnstaple.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we say goodbye to our hotel and North Devon and return to your joining point.

This four star hotel is set next to a leafy park near the centre of Barnstaple. The hotels facilities include a restaurant, a bar and lounge with a sun terrace.
The bedrooms are all ensuite with television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
The hotel does have a lift and it also has some ground floor rooms.
Guests can use the facilities of the leisure club at their sister hotel nearby.
