This NEW holiday brings together some fascinating visits including a tour of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea with one of the famous Chelsea Pensioners, a visit to the beautiful Kew Gardens and a cruise along the majestic River Thames from Windsor, all adding up to a memorable holiday.

Day 1

We join our coach from your joining points and make our way with a lunch stop en route to our hotel in Middlesex, where later the hotel will provide an evening meal.


Day 2

This morning after breakfast we travel to the Royal Hospital in Chelsea which was originally founded in 1682 by King Charles II to provide a retirement home for his soldiers. It is now home to 310 "Men in Scarlet" and one of the Chelsea Pensioners' will provide a guided tour.

Day 3

Today after a leisurely breakfast we travel the short distance to the magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. There will be time to explore over 250 years of history within London's only 300 acre UNESCO World Heritage site and visit its glasshouses and gardens.

Day 4

After breakfast we join our coach and travel to the royal town of Windsor where we join our boat for a scenic cruise along the River Thames with views of Windsor Castle, Eton College and Brocas Meadows to Boveney Lock. Afterwards there will be some free time to explore Windsor and possibly the Castle (extra cost) before joining our coach back to our hotel and our evening meal.

Day 5

We have our breakfast and then leave the hotel for the homeward journey. On the way we stop at the River & Rowing Museum in Henley on Thames for a break. The museums has galleries dedicated to rowing, the river, the history of Henley on Thames and a magical exhibition bringing life into the tale of "Wind and the Willows". In the afternoon we continue taking you back to your joining points.

Hotel Details: Holiday Inn Heathrow M4.

This three star hotel is located close to Heathrow Airport and offers a pleasant stay. The hotel has a restaurant, Coffee shop, two bars and lounges and a fitness centre. The bedrooms are all ensuite with Free WiFi, television, hairdryer and coffee/tea maker served by a lift.
