Enjoy an interesting break in this splendid part of Ireland.

This holiday visits Northern Ireland which allows you to view some of its spectacular attractions such as the awe inspiring Giant’s Causeway, the Queen’s residence of Hillsborough Castle and a sightseeing city tour of Belfast plus a visit to the informative Titanic Museum.

Day 1

A morning departure sees us travel to Anglesey and our ferry across the Irish Sea to Dublin. On our arrival we continue through Eire and into Northern Ireland to Belfast where we arrive at our hotel in time for our evening meal.


Day 2

This morning after breakfast we travel to Belfast City Hall where we meet our guide for a half day guided tour of the city taking in the sights and recognizing names from the city's recent past. Afterwards we continue to the Titanic Museum with time to view its nine interactive galleries, experience the excitement of launch day and walk the decks! After an informative and enjoyable day we return to our hotel.

Day 3

Today after breakfast we travel on part of the Antrim Coast Road which follows the coastline offering unspoilt views of the Irish Sea and the Glens of Antrim. On our arrival at the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its unique stone pillars and shrouded in folklore, there will be time to explore its heritage at the visitor centre or take the shuttle bus (extra cost of £2pp) to the stone pillars themselves. Afterwards we travel the short distance to the seaside town of Portrush for a short break before continuing our journey back to Belfast and our hotel.

Day 4

We depart this morning and travel to the Queen's official residence in Northern Ireland, Hillsborough Castle. After a guided tour of this elegant mansion which will include the majestic throne room and gardens, morning tea and scones will be served to you in one of the staterooms. Afterwards we rejoin the coach and travel to Belfast where you will have some extra free time to explore the city before continuing to our hotel.

Day 5

After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach and travel first to Downpatrick and visit the Saint Patrick Centre, which is the only permanent exhibition about Ireland's Patron Saint. You can listen to his life, adventures and his escape from slavery. We rejoin our coach and travel into Southern Ireland and our hotel on the outskirts of Dublin for our evening meal.

Day 6

We make an early start to catch our ferry at 8.00am and cross the Irish Sea to Holyhead. On our arrival we continue back to your joining points with a convenient break en route.



We would like to advise that passengers will require some form of photo identification for this holiday, such as Passport, Driving license with photo or local bus pass.

Our hotel is located in 29 acres of grounds and is a modern four star hotel. Its facilities include an indoor swimming pool and sauna, a restaurant and bar area. All the bedrooms are en suite with a television and tea/coffee making facilities and the hotel has a lift to most floors.
