This tour is popular with our clients as we stay in Torquay. We have listened to our clients who said they would like a hotel closer to the sea front and the town centre so we are staying at the Livermead Cliff Hotel. We of course include a couple of excursions visiting the unique Powderham Castle, the seaside town of Dawlish and travel on the popular Grand Western Canal by horse drawn barge through the Devon Countryside.
Day 1
We leave this morning from your joining point and travel via the motorway to the English Riviera and the resort of Torquay arriving late afternoon at the hotel in time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning after breakfast we join our coach for the journey to Powderham Castle where on arrival we are met by our guide for their signature tour which includes a tour of the castle and part of its grounds. On our return journey we stop at Dawlish for a short time before continuing back to our hotel in Paignton.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast the day is free to explore Torquay or just relax at the hotel.
B, DDay 4
This morning after breakfast we join our coach for the journey to the market town of Tiverton before a gentle one and a half hour cruise along the Grand Western Canal by horse drawn barge. During the journey you will hear some tales about the canal plus you can experience the peace and tranquility of travelling by barge. Afterwards we join our coach for the short journey back to Tiverton town centre for a break before rejoining our coach for the journey back to our hotel in Torquay.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we say farewell to our hotel and Torquay and return back to your joining points.

This traditional three star hotel is located overlooking the bay in Torquay. It includes a stunning sea view lounge and bar overlooking the bay, a restaurant and its new Riviera Terrace.
