This tour is popular with our clients as we stay in one of our favourite hotels in the resort of Torquay The Headland Hotel. This holiday we include visits to Bicton Park set in sixty acres of gardens, travel on a steam train through scenic countryside and enjoy an afternoon tea on a scenic river cruise on the River Exe.
Day 1
We leave this morning and travel via the motorway to Torquay, arriving late afternoon at the hotel in time to settle in before our evening meal.
DDay 2
This morning we travel to Paignton to join our steam train for the ride to Kingswear, where we catch the ferry across to Dartmouth. After a short break for lunch we join our coach for the journey back to Torquay and our hotel.
B, DDay 3
Today is free to explore Torquay or just relax at the hotel.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we join the coach and travel to Bicton Park where you can explore its sixty acres of historic gardens along with its greenhouse, palm house, museum and take a ride around the grounds on its narrow gauge railway. In the afternoon we travel to Exmouth, where we catch our boat for a cruise along the River Exe while enjoying an afternoon tea.
B, DDay 5
After breakfast we say farewell to our hotel and Torquay and return back to your joining points.

This three star hotel is well liked by our clients, situated in two acres of grounds on a headland overlooking the town and the bay. The hotels facilities include an outdoor pool and patio along with a lounge, bar and restaurant. Most of the bedrooms are served by a lift and are en suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities.
Four nights hotel accomodation.
Meals are on a half board basis.
