Cornish Winter Warmer

Visit Cornwall for a break to enjoy its scenery and attractions such as Padstow, St Ives and Truro.

This short break is an ideal getaway in friendly and comfortable surroundings, staying in a county that offers a wild and varied scenery. The village of St Agnes is located on the north coast of Cornwall offering a friendly Cornish atmosphere and makes a wonderful base for touring the area. 

Day 1

This morning we join our coach and travel towards our destination, the village of St Agnes. There will be a lunch break on the way. On our arrival we are welcomed by a sherry reception and after settling in you can enjoy dinner.

Day 2

After a leisurely breakfast we join our coach for the drive to the picturesque seaside village of Padstow where we stop for you to explore this fishing village. On our return we stop at the Healeys Cyder Farm where you can enjoy a self-guided tour and their popular afternoon tea and scones. Later we rejoin our coach back to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

Day 3

Today we travel to the picturesque St Ives, a town full of history, legend and tradition and cobbled streets to explore. After lunch we travel to the farthest south-westerly point on the UK mainland - Lands' End. Here we make short stop before returning to our hotel.

Day 4

After breakfast we travel to the city of Truro, with its magnificent Cathedral, the Royal Cornwall Museum plus quaint shopping streets. We rejoin the coach to travel back to our hotel where we enjoy our evening meal with a glass of wine followed by an enjoyable quiz.

Day 5

We say farewell to our hotel after a hearty breakfast and make our journey back to your joining points with a lunch stop enroute.

Hotel Details: Rosemundy House Hotel, St Agnes.

This family run hotel offers a warm welcome to you set in secluded gardens and a short walk from the village main street. The hotel provides a comfortable lounge, bar and restaurant to relax in and the bedrooms are en-suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities.

There is no lift at this hotel but they have a limited number of ground floor rooms available on a first come/first served basis.
