Enjoy this break to the English & Welsh border area and the town of Mold. On this holiday you can enjoy the Puffin Cruise in the Menai Straits, explore the National Trust property of Erddig Hall, travel on a horse drawn canal barge ride and a scenic train journey along Lake Bala.
Day 1
This morning we join our coach and travel towards our destination. There will be a lunch break on the way and we arrive late afternoon at our hotel in time for our evening meal.
DDay 2
After breakfast we depart the hotel and join our coach for the drive through North Wales and onto the Isle of Anglesey and the town of Beaumaris. On our arrival we join our boat for the Puffin Cruise which sails along the Menai Straits looking out for these very distinctive birds. Afterwards there will be some free time in Beaumaris before rejoining our coach for the journey back to our hotel, followed by our evening meal.
B, DDay 3
Today after breakfast we travel the short distance to Wrexham and the National Trust property of Erddig Hall. There will be time to explore this property which shows life above and below stairs and one of the country's most important 18th century gardens. Afterwards we continue to the pretty town of Llangollen. Here you will enjoy a 45 minute horse drawn boat trip along the canal from Llangollen Wharf. Afterwards we re-join the coach and travel back to our hotel for our evening meal.
B, DDay 4
After breakfast we travel through the Welsh countryside to Lake Bala and the hamlet of Llanuwchllyn, where we join our train for a scenic return journey along the banks of the Lake. Afterwards we re-join our coach and travel back to the town of the Bala where there will be a short break before travelling back to our hotel in Mold.
B, DDay 5
We say farewell to our hotel after our breakfast and make our journey back to your joining point with a lunch stop en route.

This three star hotel is located near the town of Mold. The hotel has the Arches bar and restaurant which offers an informal area to relax in.
Its bedrooms are all ensuite (shower over the bath) along with television, hair dryer and hospitality tray.
Please Note: The hotel does not have a lift, but does have some ground floor rooms on a first come/first served booking basis. First floor rooms are accessed by one flight of stairs.
